2019: Contributor on NIU’s first MAC Championship team; starter on bars and floor exercise through most of the season. Injured late in year but still competed on bars at MAC Championships. Her average score of 9.686 on uneven parallel bars ranked second on the team as did her 9.818 average on floor exercise. Scored 9.700 or higher on five of her bars routines and had four top five finishes on the event. Earned a season and career high 9.800 on bars at the State Championships. In the Huskies’ line-up on floor seven times. Scored 9.775 or higher on every floor routine, including a career high of 9.875 to win the event at Southeast Missouri. Placed in top five on floor in six of seven events. Named to Academic All-State, NIU Scholar-Athlete of the Week and qualified for the Dean’s List.
2018: Did not compete due to injury.
2017: Competed on the lineup against Bowling Green (Feb. 3) on vault, and competed on vault in seven competitions as an exhibitionists, one meet on uneven parallel bars and three on floor. Tied her career high floor score of 9.825 versus Eastern Michigan (Feb. 17).
2016: Competed in all 12 meets for the Huskies. Set career-high on floor against Western Michigan (2-14) with a 9.800 and tied it against Ball State and Seattle Pacific and again at Bowling Green (3-12). Posted 9.650 on beam as an exhibition performer against Eastern Michigan (1-30). Set career-high on vault at Bowling Green (3-12) with a 9.800 run. Averaged second, for the Huskies on floor with 9.715.
Prep: Trained at Gold Medal Gymnastics Huntington in Greenlawn, N.Y. with three years as a USAG Level 10 competitor. Competed at the Olympic Program level at the 2014 Tim Rand Invitational, where she won the uneven bars competition with a 9.475, came in third on the vault with a 9.400, took fifth in floor exercise with a 9.450, and placed fourth in the all-around with a 36.750. Won the bars competition at the 2014 New York Level 10 State Championship with a 9.450 and finished fourth in the all-around with a 36.300 score. Her best Level 10 all-around meet came at the 2014 Brestyans Invitational, where she placed second in vault, bars and balance beam, third in floor exercise and won the all-around.
Personal: Born Nov. 18, 1997 in Manhasset, N.Y. to parents Stacy and Michael Ferber. Majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
