Biography

2018
• Tied for the team lead with two interceptions on the year with both coming at Akron (11-1).
• Played in all 13 games, starting the Toledo (11-7) and Western Michigan (11-20) games at cornerback.
• Named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 5 after intercepting two passes in the fourth quarter of NIU’s win at Akron, returning one 23 yards for a touchdown.
• Also returned a blocked PAT 80 yards for two points in the game, turning a potential tie game into a three-point NIU lead late in the third quarter, and broke up a pass.
• Recorded the first defensive PAT for NIU since 2003.
• Named the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award National Player of the Week after that performance.
• Contributed three stops, with a pass break-up, in the bowl game versus UAB (12-18).
• Had three tackles, including a half tackle for loss, at Florida State (9-22).
• Made three tackles, with his first career sack, in NIU’s dominant defensive performance at BYU (10-27).
• Credited with a career-high four tackles versus Ball State (10-6).
• Made two tackles in the Toledo (11-1) and Western Michigan (11-20) games and three stops at Eastern Michigan (9-29).
• Used on kickoff returns and was a member of multiple Huskie special teams.

• Father, Jason, played fullback for eight seasons in the NFL, including seven for the Chicago Bears.
