2019-20: A 2020 NCAA national qualifier, however, did not compete as the 2020 NCAA National Championships were cancelled due to COVID-19 (coronavirus)…Moved up to 285 after wrestling at 197 the previous season…Placed fifth at the 2020 MAC Championships, defeating John Kelbly of Cleveland State, 3-2…Earned a 20-11 overall record and 5-4 mark in MAC competition…Clinched NIU’s 19-16 win over Buffalo (Feb. 14) when he defeated Nolan Terrance in the second tiebreaker, 3-2…Eight of his final 12 bouts went into overtime, six of those ending in victory…Won seven of his final eight regular-season matches.
2018-19: Ended season with a 3-15 overall record… Two wins came in the conference tournament…Placed fourth at the MAC Championships defeating Landon Pelham, of Central Michigan, 3-2 and SIUE’s Christian DuLaney.
2017-18: Posted a 6-18 record this season at 197-pounds… Earned three MAC victories, Old Dominion (Dec. 19), Eastern Michigan (Jan. 19) and Ohio (Jan. 21) … Suited up for all 11 of NIU’s duals … Has an all-time record of 12-23… Made it to the podium at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open (Nov. 4) finishing in sixth place.
2016-17: Posted a 6-5 record wrestling unattached at the Michigan State Open (11/20), Pat Flanagan Open (1/7) and the Harper Open (1/28) at 197-pounds…Recorded one win at the MSU Open and three wins at the Pat Flanagan Open, taking fourth place…Captured second place at the Harper Open after going 2-1 as a true freshman.
High School: Three-time conference champion for Waubonsie Valley High School…Named the team MVP as a senior after going 24-4 and advancing to his second state tournament…During 2014-2015 season he posted a 44-9 record and placed fifth at the state tournament…Awarded all-conference honors senior year in wrestling and football…Member of the Waubonsie Wrestling Club.
