Biography

2022
•    Played in 11 games at the huskie position and made 44 tackles, 19 solo with two tackles for loss.  
•    Recorded five tackles and a half tackle for loss at Tulsa (9-10).
•    Forced a fumble and made seven tackles at Kentucky (9-24).
•    Registered a season high 10 tackles, five solo, broke up a pass and picked off his second career pass at Ball State (10-1). 
•    Made five tackles in consecutive games at Ohio (10-22) and versus Central Michigan (11-2).
•    Had six tackles and a career best 1.5 tackles for loss, including half a sack, in the Miami game (11-16).
•    Saw extensive action on special teams, including the kickoff, punt, kickoff return and punt return units. 
•    Missed the Vanderbilt game (9-17). 

2021
•    NIU starter at safety entering the season. 
•    Suffered a season-ending injury during the season opener at Georgia Tech (9-4).
•    Recorded two solo and two assisted tackles and a pass break-up in his only action of the year.

2020
• Third team All-MAC selection.
• Started all six games as a true freshman.
• Finished second on the team in tackles with 36, including 21 solo stops.
• Established career highs in tackles (13), with eight solo, against Toledo (12-5).
• Snagged his first career interception against Toledo (12-5).
• Tallied 10 total tackles and a sack at Ball State (11-18).

HIGH SCHOOL
• Two-year letterwinner at cornerback and safety as a junior and senior.
• Earned first team all-area honors in 2018 and 2019 and was a first team all-conference choice both seasons as well.
• Named Most Improved Defensive Player in 2018.
• Selected as 912 Sports defensive MVP as a senior.
• Team advanced to the second round of the GHSAA State Playoffs his senior season, when he served as team captain.
• Amassed 75 tackles, 46 solo, his senior season with 23 pass break-ups, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick.
• Contributed 35 tackles, 20 solo, with nine pass deflections, as a junior.
