2023-24: Saw action in six tournaments for the Huskies, playing 17 rounds of golf…..Had a season-best finish of 56th at the Pinetree Collegiate….average round score of 80.76 with a season low of 77 at the FIU Pat Bradley Invite (Oct 14-16).....Academic All-MAC....WGCA Scholar All-American
2022-23: Competed in seven tournaments this season, totaling 1,681 strokes. Scored her lowest round and best finish at Pinetree Collegiate. Shot a 73 in her last round to finish 231, resulting in a tie for 32
nd place. Competed in 2023 MAC Championships where she notched two 77s and an 86 to tie for 32
nd. Academic All-MAC honoree.
2021-22: Played in eight tournaments this season, three more than last year. Her very first round of the season was her best, she opened the Redbird Invitational (Sept. 5-6) with round one card of 2-under par 70 (best round by any Huskie in the tournament). She finished tied for 17th at seven-over with a 54-hole tally of 223. Earned 2022 Academic All Mid-American Conference team honors in her first year of eligibility for the award.
Spring 2021: In the Huskie line-up in four tournaments and played as an individual in one. Compiled a stroke average of 76.9 in 14 rounds. Shot a season-best 68 in the third round of the Jackrabbit Invitational (March 8-9) while playing as an individual. Also posted her best 54-hole score and tournament finish at that event with a six-over par 222 (78-72-68) for a third-place finish in a nine-team field. Was NIU’s top finisher in the event. Tied for 12
th at the Redbird Spring Invitational (April 9-10) with a final round 75. Saw her first collegiate action at the Mid-American Challenge (Feb. 8-9) and carded a 14-over par 230. Scored 79 or below in 13 of her 14 rounds. All tournaments were played in the spring due to COVID-19.
Prior to NIU: Played four years of golf at Taipei Municipal Heping Senior High School. Posted a stroke average of 72.0 in 2019 as a senior. Tied for third at Singha Thailand Junior World Championships and FCG International Challenge Cup. Her rounds at Singha Thailand included a 69. Shot rounds of 74-71-73 at the FCG Callaway World Championship. Tied for ninth at the Taiwan Amateur Open in May 2019. Led Heping to back-to-back National Senior High Golf Team Championships in 2018 and 2019. Finished sixth, individually, both years. Heping took second at the national championship in 2017 and won the title in 2016. Trained at Dream Golf Academy in Taipei.
Personal: Daughter of Mei-Chun Lin and Liang-Chang Liu. Given name is Ke-Ai but goes by Karen. Birthday is June 10. Interested in working youth tournaments and helping younger golfers. Majoring in sports management.
