Prior to NIU: A four-year letterwinner at IC College Prep… Named Metro Suburban Conference Player of the Year as a senior in 2021 after guiding the Knights to an undefeated 17-0 season with 301 assists, 94 digs, 31 aces…2021 Second Team All-State selection… Two-time All-Conference pick… Co-Captain her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Daughter of Julie and Jay Hurt…Sister, Maddie, played golf at NIU from 2017-19 and her sister Olivia is a sophomore on the women’s soccer team at North Central College.
