Q and A for NIU Students
Tickets
Beginning December 8th, the first 500 NIU students who come to the Convocation Center Ticket Office will receive a FREE ticket to the Independence Bowl on December 28th. Students must present a valid student I.D.
Travel
The NIU Athletics Department and Student Affairs are pleased to offer a NIU Student Fan Bus to the Independence Bowl. The cost is $125 per student and includes transportation, a ticket to the game, and two nights in a hotel (double occupancy). Below is a trip itinerary. Please contact Cindy Green, Director of Marketing, at 815-753-0639 to reserve your spot. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. To qualify for this special offer, you must be a current NIU student.

✔ You are responsible for all food and activities
✔ You are responsible for arriving at the bus on time
✔ No refunds of the trip will be allowed
✔ NIU will make every attempt to pair you with your requested roommate but cannot make guarantees
✔ You will be asked to show your OneCard when boarding the bus on December 26th
✔ Any illegal or improper behavior can result in immediate action taken by the local and/or NIU authorities
✔ NIU Athletics and Student Affairs has the authority to search bags for any illegal substance without provocation
