Throughout the history of women's tennis at NIU, the team has not been short on exceptional players. NIU has seen some excellent competitors go through the program. Some have received recognition for their excellent play and sportsmanship as a Huskie. Below, a list can be found of all athletes who have received awards for their efforts on the courts. Most come from when the team was part of the MAC, but NIU did have brief stints as part of the Mid-Continent Conference (now Summit League) and the Midwestern Collegiate Conference, and both saw student-athletes receive recognition for their excellent play.
