Complete NIU Volleyball Record Book
The Northern Illinois University volleyball program has historically been one of the strongest programs in the conference and region - and the numbers back it up.
Overall, the Huskies own a .605 winning percentage overall and a .678 winning percentage in conference matches, in addition to posting 22 20-win seasons since the program's inception in 1970. NIU has captured seven regular season conference crowns and won the West Division title six times since rejoining the Mid-American Conference in 1997.
In postseason play, NIU has made six NCAA tournament appearances and three trips to the now-defunct National Invitational Volleyball Championship. In three of those six NCAA appearances, the Huskies have advanced to the second round.
Individually, the Huskies boast five AVCA All-Americans - all since 2006 - and eight All-Region honorees. In conference, the team has earned 51 All-MAC selections and six Player of the Year honors. In 2014 alone, the Huskies claimed three all-conference honorees and an all-freshman team pick.
