The NIU Huskies will take on the BYU Cougars at SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday, October 24, 2020 in the second edition of the Huskie Chi-Town Showdown as NIU once again brings the premier Football Bowl Subdivision program in the state of Illinois to Chicagoland, home of many of the university's 160,000 living alumni.  The Huskies will battle BYU, a storied program with a national fan base, in the home of the NWSL's Chicago RedStars. 

Tickets to the 2020 Huskie Chi-Town Showdown are on sale NOW and are priced at $35 for the general public and $25 for NIU football season ticket members.

The Huskie Chi-Town Showdown game IS included in the NIU season ticket renewal forms which are available now for 2019 NIU season ticket members at NIUHuskies.com/myhuskies at the discounted price of $25 each. 

Season ticket members who do NOT wish to attend the BYU game have the option to decline the tickets by checking the appropriate box on the online or paper renewal form. Paper renewal notices, along with the 2020 Huskie Athletic Fund membership guide, will be mailed out this month. NIU season ticket members are encouraged to order tickets with their 2020 renewal forms by the renewal deadline of April 11 in order to receive priority seating at both Huskie Stadium and SeatGeek Stadium. 

Huskie Athletic Fund members and Huskie Stadium premium seat holders (Sky Box, Sky Club, Chairback and Benchback) should check the Q&A for details on seat locations and amenities at SeatGeek Stadium or call the Huskie Athletic Fund Office at 815-753-1923. 

Current NIU students (as of Fall 2020 semester) will receive free admission to the Huskie Chi-Town Showdown game at SeatGeek Stadium, just as they do to every NIU Football home game, and a limited number of student guest tickets will also be available for students at the $25 price. Complete information on student tickets and transportation will be communicated to current students in the fall.

  SEATING  

Seat locations for NIU season ticket members will be determined based on your 2020 NIU football season ticket location and the Huskie Athletic Fund Benefit Allocation process. Huskie Stadium Sky Box and Sky Club season ticket members will receive seats in the exclusive Heineken Second Star Club, featuring a food buffet and a premium cash bar. Additional seats in the Heineken Second Star Club area may be available for purchase by Sky Box and Sky Club ticket holders.

Chairback and Benchback season ticket members will receive seats in the 100 Level chairback seating area at SeatGeek Stadium and have the first opportunity to purchase additional tickets in these sections, based on availability and the Huskie Athletic Fund Benefit Allocation Process.  For more information on premium seating options, go to the season ticket member and HAF FAQ or contact the Huskie Athletic Fund at (815) 753-1923.

Sections indicated in GREEN on the map above are available for single game purchase for $35 each. Single game tickets are on sale now at SeatGeek.com. 

Due to expected demand, season ticket members are encouraged to renew their season tickets and their 2020 Huskie Chi-Town Showdown tickets by the renewal date of April 11, 2020.  Don't lose your priority spot at this unique venue.

  PARKING  

Parking around SeatGeek Stadium is plentiful and convenient!  For the general public, parking will be available in the North and West Lots for $20 ($30 for RVs) on gameday. 

Huskie Athletic Fund members who purchase tickets for the 2020 Huskie Chi-Town Showdown and have season parking passes at Huskie Stadium will receive a parking pass for the NIU-BYU game at no additional charge.

 GETTING THERE  

DIRECTIONS:  CLICK HERE for driving directions to SeatGeek Stadium. The address of the stadium is 7000 S. Harlem Ave, Bridgeview, Illinois 60455.  

FAN BUS: NIU is partnering with GoGround to offer Huskie fans in DeKalb County a great option for getting to and from the game via bus in cooperation with the NIU Alumni Association. Pricing and details will be announced at a later date.

STUDENT BUS: A student bus option will also be announced early in the Fall 2020 semester.  

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: SeatGeek Stadium is served by the CTA Orange Line and the SeatGeek Stadium DIRECT Pace Bus, which leaves from the Orange Line stop and operates direct service to and from the stadium on event days. Click here for more information on getting to SeatGeek Stadium via public transportation.
