2016 SEASON (JUNIOR)
- Appeared in 34 games with 16 starts in the outfield
- Totaled 68 at-bats with 13 hits for a .191 batting average with a .247 on base percentage
- Recorded back-to-back multi-hit games, going 2-3 with two RBI against Valparaiso (May 3) then going 2-4 win an RBI against Toledo (May 6)
2015 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
•Appeared in 46 games, starting 35 in the outfield
•Recorded 148 at-bats and converted 35 hits, finishing the season with a .236 batting average and a .305 on base percentage
•Contributed 14 runs adn 15 RBI for the Huskies
•Scored lone homerun for the season against Eastern Michigan (Apr. 26) as well as setting a career high three RBI for the second time in 2015
2014 SEASON (FRESHMAN):
• Played in 41 games with 35 starts in the outfield
• Scored eight runs in first campaign
• Made first career start and appearance versus Minnesota in Glendale, Ariz. (Feb. 16); recorded first hit and RBI at No. 9 Cal Poly (March 12-13)
• Drove in a season-high two RBI, twice, at Bowling Green (March 28) and at UIC (April 29)
• Hit first career home run against the Flames (April 29) and had his first three-bagger at Eastern Michigan (12)
• Accumulated two-or-more hits three times
• Threw out Kent State's Sawyer Polen on an 8-6-2 play at the plate to clinch NIU's 6-5 at the Golden Flashes (May 3)
• Ended the year with a .246 on-base percentage and .127 batting average
MOUNT CARMEL HIGH SCHOOL:
• 2013 Chicago Sun-Times Baseball Player of the Year
• Chicago Catholic League Player of the Year as well
• Four year varsity baseball letter winner
• First athlete in the history of Mount Carmel to win a state championship in both baseball and football as the team captain in 2012-13
• Wide receiver for the Caravans
• Accumulated 11 receptions, five for touchdown in the IHSA Playoffs in senior year
• State finalist his Sophomore year
• Consensus all-state selection as a senior
• Batted .425 with a 33 RBI, three home runs and 45 hits in 39 games in 2013
• Participated in the Chicago Catholic League vs Chicago Public Schools All-Star game
PERSONAL/MISCELLANEOUS:
• Son of Kathy and Thomas Gasser
• Plans on majoring in business with a minor in finance
• Worked with local churches, nursing homes and soup kitchens back home
