Biography

2024
• In lone season as a Huskie, caught 26 passes for 264 yards to rank fourth on the team. 
• Averaged 10.2 yards per catch with at least one reception in 12 of 13 games.
• Developed a knack for making big catches late to convert first downs.  
• Led the Huskies with three receptions for 58 yards at NC State (9-28).
• His season-long 42-yard reception late in the second quarter to the Wolfpack six-yard line set up NIU’s second touchdown. 
• Had a game-high five receptions and 47 receiving yards in win at Bowling Green (10-12).
• Tied his season-high with five receptions at Miami (11-19) for 38 yards.
• Recorded two receptions for 21 yards in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win over Fresno State (12-23).
• Made three catches for 31 yards versus Buffalo (9-21).
• Caught two passes for 21 yards in the regular season finale versus Central Michigan (11-30).
• His first NIU reception went for 16 yards against Western Illinois (8-31).
• Transferred to NIU in January 2024 and took part in spring practices.

2023 
Saw action in nine of 11 games at wide receiver. Led team in receiving with 39 catches for 525 yards with two touchdowns. Second team All-Pioneer Football League selection by league coaches. Earned third team All-PFL honors from Phil Steele. Ranked first on the team in kick returns with 191 yards on XX returns. Also returned nine punts for 64 yards. Totaled a season high 121 receiving yards on seven catches versus Harvard (9/16). Made a season long 50-yard reception against Valparaiso (11/18) and totaled four catches for 90 yards in the game. Caught five passes for 92 yards versus Morehead State (9/23). Scored receiving touchdowns versus Dayton (9/30) and Marist (10/28). Qualified for the PFL Academic Honor Roll. FCS Preseason All-America choice by Stats Perform, the first in school’s Division I history.

2022
Caught team-leading 45 passes for 717 yards (15.9 average) and seven receiving touchdowns while playing in all 11 games. Had 70 or more receiving yards in five games.  Returned 17 kickoffs returns for 445 yards including a 95-yard return touchdown to average 26.2 yards per return. Added 14 punt returns for 119 yards, an 8.50-yard average. First-team All-PFL selection as a wide receiver received honorable mention honors as a returner. Only player unanimously selected on all ballots to the All-PFL honor teams. Phil Steele named him first team All-PFL at receiver and made his second team at returner. Caught seven passes for 200 yards and two scores versus San Diego (10/29) and returned two kickoffs for 121 yards, including the 95-yard touchdown return. Named PFL Offensive Player of the Week after the season’s only 300-yard all-purpose yard game. Made seven catches for 88 yards versus Marist (10/1). 

2021
Played in eight games as a freshman and ranked second on the team with 14 catches for 140 yards. Made a season-high four receptions for 49 yards at Davidson (11/6). Totaled a season-best 51 receiving yards, including a 40-yard reception versus Butler (9/25).

HIGH SCHOOL
A letterwinner in football at Bolingbrook High School... an all-conference and all-area selection... named a team captain… an academic all-state nominee... member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
The son of Drew and Kim, two sisters, Arielle and Aubrey… Father played football at Virginia State University... Sister Arielle played basketball at Tuskegee University... Spent three years as an executive officer for NAACP youth council.
