Biography

Career
• Ninth player in school history to surpass 3,000 career rushing yards. 
• His 3,090 yards rank ninth at NIU all-time.
• Played in 40 games over four seasons (2021-24) with 518 carries and 26 touchdowns.
• His career average of 6.0 yards/carry ranks fifth all-time and 26 rushing TDs are 10th.
• Averaged 77.3 yards per game with nine 100-yard rushing games. 
• Caught 21 career passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. 

2024
• Played in eight games and started seven as a senior. 
• Totaled 567 yards on 115 carries with four rushing touchdowns and caught a career high eight passes for 204 yards with a touchdown. 
• Surpassed the 3,000-yard mark for his career at Ball State (10-26) with 62 rushing yards and touchdowns of 34 and 6 yards.
• Injured on a season-long 49-yard run in the first quarter at Western Michigan (11-6) and missed the final four games of the season. 
• Named to Phil Steele’s All-MAC fourth team.
• Posted his ninth 100-yard rushing game of his career at N.C. State (9-28) with 114 yards on 28 carries.
• Ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns versus Buffalo (9-21).
• Made the play of the game in the first quarter of NIU’s historic win at No. 5 Notre Dame, snagging a pass in traffic over the middle and taking off untouched for an 83-yard touchdown reception. 
• Also had a 43-yard catch in the game for 126 total receiving yards. 
• Ran 20 times for 99 yards against the Irish to finish with 225 all-purpose yards. 
• Earned MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors following that performance. 
• Named to the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp and Doak Walker Award watch lists.

 
2023
• Named to the 2023 All-MAC First Team by league coaches and Phil Steele. 
• Second in the MAC in rushing yards and yards per carry with averages of 99.7 and 6.11, respectively.
• Averages also ranked 16th and 21st in the country per game and per carry. 
• Averaged 8.41 yards per carry in MAC play. 
• Scored 10 touchdowns rushing and one receiving
• Gained 132 yards on 25 carries in the Camellia Bowl win over Arkansas State (12-23) for his fifth 100-plus yard game of the season. 
• Had 89 yards and a touchdown in bowl-clinching win at Kent State (11-25). 
• Ran for 159 yards and two TDs on 21 carries in win over WMU (11-14). 
• Gained 167 yards with a touchdown at CMU (10-31).
• MAC West Offensive Player of the Week (10-9) after rushing for a career-high 280 yards and four touchdowns in win at Akron (10-7). 
• Sixth Huskie to run for over 275 yards in a game averaged a school record 21.5 yards per rush, breaking the NIU single-game record set by Stacey Robinson in 1989. 
• Ran for 152 yards on 16 carries at Toledo (9-30) including a season long 80-yard run to set up NIU’s first touchdown. 
• Scored the Huskies first two touchdowns of the season in NIU’s season-opening overtime win at Boston College (9-2), on a seven-yard reception and a two-yard run.  
• On the 2023 Doak Walker Award watch list.
• Preseason Second Team All-MAC by Phil Steele and Athlon.
• Preseason Third Team All-MAC by Pro Football Focus.


2022
•    In 10 games and three starts, rushed for 689 yards on 110 carries. 
•    Led NIU with seven rushing touchdowns and ranked second on the team in yards and carries.  
•    His 6.3 yards per carry ranked first in the MAC and 17th nationally.
•    Earned honorable mention All-MAC recognition from College Football Network.
•    Selected as the Huskies’ offensive back of the year. 
•    Scored a rushing touchdown in each of the first three games of the season – versus Eastern Illinois (9-1), at Tulsa (9-10) and against Vanderbilt (9-17).
•    Broke free for a 51-yard score versus Vanderbilt to give NIU a 21-14 lead at the half. 
•    Ran for a career-high 160 yards on 16 attempts at Ohio (10-22).
•    Rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown and made his lone reception, for seven yards, versus Toledo (10-8).
•    Recorded 86 rushing yards on 17 carries and two scores in win at Eastern Michigan (10-15).
•    Had an 86-yard rushing touchdown in the Miami game (11-16) and finished with 97 yards on five carries.
•    The 86-yard score was the longest offensive play of the season for NIU and ranked as one of the 10 longest running plays in school history.
•    Missed the Western Michigan (11-9) and Akron (11-26) games. 
•    Named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List.
 
2021
•    Saw action in nine of the last 10 games of the year and made two starts as a true freshman.  
•    Finished the season as the Huskies’ third-leading rusher with 538 yards on 81 carries. 
•    His 6.6 yards per carry led the team and his five rushing TDs and 59.8 yards per game ranked third.
•    Recorded 101 yards on 16 carries in his collegiate debut vs. Eastern Michigan (10-2). 
•    Rushed for 93 yards on 24 carries with a 37-yard touchdown run at Toledo in his first start (10-9).
•    Tallied a career best 105 yards on 12 carries with a seven-yard score vs. Coastal Carolina in the Cure Bowl (12-17).
•    Rushed for 70-plus yards in each of the final four games of the season.
•    Carried 14 times for 75 yards in the MAC Championship game win over Kent State (12-4).
•    Scored on runs of 41 and 44 yards versus Western Michigan (11-23). 

High School
• Earned first team All-State honors in Georgia in 2019 as a junior.
• Rushed for 1,008 yards as a junior in 10 games and added 500 receiving yards.
• Scored on a 95-yard run.
• Set the school record for most touchdowns in a game with four and most total yards in a game, 399, in 2019.
• In just five games in 2020, gained 375 yards with a long of 65 yards.
• Owns the school record in the 100 meters (10.9 seconds).
