Biography

Career
• Transfer played two seasons at quarterback for NIU.
• Responsible for eight passing and eight rushing TDs in 16 career games with 2,199 yards of total offense in 334 plays.

2016
• Played in seven games and made five starts at quarterback.
• Moved to wide receiver in August before returning to quarterback due to injuries at the position.
• After starting the Ball State (10-1) through Bowling Green (11-1) games, was injured and missed final three games. 
• Finished season as Huskies’ leading passer, third-leading rusher and tops in total offense in just seven games.  
• Completed 105-of-175 passes (60 percent) for 1,213 yards and eight touchdowns.
• Rushed 82 times for 558 yards, a 6.8 yard average, and seven scores with three 100-yard rushing games and a 98-yard effort.
• Recorded career highs of 26 completions and 298 passing yards at Ball State; also ran for 160 yards, including a team season long 75-yard run, on 14 carries.
• Scored four rushing touchdowns on 15 carries for 125 yards in Homecoming win over Buffalo (10-22).
• Passed for three TDs on 18-of-30 day versus CMU (10-15). 
• Caught a pass for nine yards at Western Michigan (10-8). 


2015
• Had season-ending surgery early in the year.
• Did not play in any games.

2014
• Appeared in nine games as a dual-threat quarterback.
• Spent most of the season as Drew’s Hare back-up quarterback and saw time on some early series as well.
• Passed for 227 yards with a 60.6 completion percentage (20-for-33).
• Rushed for 201 yards on 44 attempts.
• Scored his only touchdown of the season rushing vs. Miami (10-18).
• Helped the Huskies beat Kent State (10-4), passing for 105 yards, including a career-long 49-yard completion to Juwan Brescacin.
• Named to the Academic All-MAC team.

2013

• Did not play due to NCAA transfer rules.
• Named Offensive Scout Player of the Week for the Akron (10-12) game and the Ball State (11-13) game.

Prior to NIU
• Redshirted as a true freshman at Western Michigan.

High School
• Earned all-state honors following the 2011 season.
• Passed for 3,799 yards and 52 touchdowns in 2011, while rushing for 1,117 yards and 18 scores on the ground.
• Earned conference and state title game MVP honors.
• Responsible for 33 touchdowns as a junior.
• Guided team to state title in 2009.
