Biography

Career
• Played in 47 consecutive games at fullback from 2021-24. 
• Versatile player with primary responsibilities as a blocker for NIU’s potent rushing attack.
• Career stats include 18 receptions for 216 yards and a touchdown and 20 carries for 66 yards and two scores.
• Also a contributor on multiple Huskie special teams who added 44 yards on kickoff returns and six tackles. 
• Three-time CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC honoree.  

2024 
• Totaled nine catches for 91 yards and seven carries for 14 yards as a senior. 
• One of four Huskies to have touchdowns both rushing and receiving in 2024. 
• Had a reception in five straight games from Oct. 19 to Nov. 19.
• Caught as season-high two passes for 26 yards at Miami (11-19).
• Had a 13-yard reception in win at Western Michigan (11-6) and returned a kickoff 19 yards from his upback position.
• Caught a 15-yard touchdown pass on NIU’s first play from scrimmage in win over UMass (10-5) for the first TD catch of his career.
• Carried twice for six yards and recovered a fumble in the end zone for his second career rushing touchdown at N.C. State (9-28); also caught a 21-yard pass in the game.
• As a blocker, helped the Huskies average 203.8 rushing yards per game to rank 16th nationally.
• Part of Huskie offense that ranked second in the MAC in total offense (382.2 yards/game)
• Played a big role as NIU totaled 388 yards and averaged 6.0 yards per play in the Huskies’ historic upset of No. 5 Notre Dame on September 7.
• Earned Academic All-MAC and CSC Academic All-District honors.
• Named one of four 2024 permanent team captains.  

2023
• True fullback played in all 13 games with nine starts.
• Gained 52 yards on 13 carries with one rushing touchdown and seven passes for 87 yards. 
• Contributed to the Huskies’ rushing offense as a blocker, helping lead the way to Antario Brown’s 1,296 rushing yards.
• Played on punt and kickoff return special teams.   
• Ran for season-high 14 yards on three carries in NIU’s win at Boston College (9-2) and scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter. 
• Also caught two passes for 28 yards versus BC. 
• Made an impact at Toledo (9-30) with a season-long 26-yard reception and two carries for 11 yards. 
• Grabbed a pair of passes for 17 yards against Ball State (11-7). 
• Recorded one carry for 11 yards versus Ohio (10-14).
• Earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC Honors. 
• Given the Hard Hat Award for the NIU offense following spring practices, given to the player who came to work and gave his best every day.

2022
•    Huskies’ top fullback played in all 12 games with three starts as a sophomore.
•    Used primarily as a blocker for the second-ranked rushing offense in the MAC.  
•    Did not have a rush on the season but caught two passes for 38 yards. 
•    Caught a season-long 31-yard pass to the WMU seven-yard line to set up a touchdown in NIU’s win at Western Michigan (11-9).
•    Also hauled in a seven-yard reception versus Akron (11-26).
•    Played on several special teams units. 
•    Received Academic All-MAC and CSC Academic All-District honors. 

2021
•    True freshman saw action in final nine games of the season.
•    Played primarily on special teams, including the kickoff coverage and punt return units. 
•    In that role, totaled three tackles, including two at Central Michigan (10-23).
•    Added a solo stop versus Western Michigan (11-23). 
•    Saw action as a fullback late in the season, including the MAC Championship (12-4) game and the Cure Bowl (12-17). 
•    Helped the Huskies to a season-high 355 rushing yards versus Coastal Carolina. 

HIGH SCHOOL
• Garnered first team All-State honors as a senior.
• Three-time first team all-conference selection.
• Was named first team all-area in both his junior and senior years.

• Collected a total of 316 tackles during his high school career.
