Biography

Career
• Played in every game for NIU – 51 total – during his four-year career (2021-24).
• Finished with 66 total tackles, 32 solo, from his nose tackle position. 
• Totaled 3.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss in his career. 

2024 
• Made a career-high 28 tackles, 15 solo, with at least one tackle in every game. 
• Started 10 of 13 games.
• His 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks were also single season bests. 
• Blocked three kicks – two field goals and a PAT – to rank second in the nation.
• Blocked field goals at the end of each half in NIU’s 16-14 win at No. 5 Notre Dame (9-7), the first two blocked kicks of his career, to earn MAC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
• Tied his career high with five tackles versus the Irish.
• First Huskie to have two blocked field goals in a season since 2013.
• Made four stops in season-ending win over Central Michigan (11-30); blocked an extra point that was returned for two points.
• Recorded his first career pass breakup in win over Akron (11-13) and added two tackles.
• Had two tackles for loss, including a sack, in win at Bowling Green (10-12).

• Saw action in every game at defensive tackle.

• Made two tackles and was in on a tackle for loss versus Ohio (10-14). 
• Had a pair of solo stops at Nebraska (9-16) in return to his home state.
• Tallied a solo tackle in season opener at Boston College (9-2) with assists at Akron (10-7), versus Ball State (11-7) and at Kent State (11-25). 
• Named to the Academic All-MAC team. 

2022
•    Played in all 12 games as part of the Huskies’ rotation at defensive tackle.
•    Totaled 12 tackles, five solo, with two tackles for loss as a sophomore. 
•    Registered a season-high four tackles, three solo, and was in on a sack at Kentucky (9-24).
•    Made three tackles and recorded a tackle for loss at Ohio (10-22).
•    Contributed a pair of tackles versus Central Michigan (11-2).
•    Accounted for half a tackle for loss versus Eastern Illinois (9-1).

2021
•    Saw action in all 14 games in the rotation at defensive tackle as a true freshman.
•    Made his first career start at Kent State (11-3).
•    Credited with 15 tackles, nine solo, with 2.5 tackles for loss and half a sack. 
•    Recorded his first career stops versus Maine (9-25) with two assists.
•    Came on late in the season with at least one tackle in each of the last seven games of the year.
•    Totaled a career high five tackles, four solo, with a tackle for loss at Kent State (11-3).
•    Combined with Nick Rattin on a fourth down sack in the fourth quarter of the MAC Championship game win over Kent State (12-4).

• Four-year letterwinner who started 47 consecutive varsity games beginning with the first game of his freshman season.
• First team All-State choice by the Omaha World Herald in 2019 and 2020.
• Named to the Lincoln Journal Star Super State Team in each of the last two seasons.
• Earned All-Metro honors in his last three seasons with first team selections in 2019 and 2020.
• Had 60 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and four quarterback hurries as a senior for Westside’s 2020 undefeated Nebraska Class A state championship team.
• Westside claimed its first state football title in 28 years.
• Compiled 187 tackles, 83 solo, over his last three season.
• Broke up seven career passes and blocked five kicks.
• Westside went 10-3 and were state runner-ups in 2019.
• Team advanced to at least the quarterfinals of the state playoffs all four years of his career.
• Three-time Nebraska Class A state wrestling championship qualifier at 285-pound weight class, finishing as runner-up the last two years.
