Recorded 12 100-yard rushing games and finished with 2,193 yards and 30 touchdowns on 289 attempts on 11-1 conference champion and WIAA Division I quarterfinalist in final year. Set city career rushing record with 5,331 yards and 68 TDs. Rushed for team-high 42 yards and two TDs in Shrine Bowl following final prep campaign. Totaled 1,846 yards and 23 TDs on 271 carries to earn second team All-Big Eight honors on 12-1 playoff semifinalist as a junior. Put up 1,292 yards and 15 TDs on 234 attempts and earned all-conference honors on 10-2 state quarterfinalist as a sophomore. Three-time football letterwinner and earned one letter in basketball, baseball and track. Team captain, first team All-Big Eight, and honorable mention Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State as second baseman during senior year. Led team with eight home runs, 15 stolen bases, 21 RBI and a .478 batting average during final prep season.
