Colin Duling

Colin Duling begins his second season as a graduate assistant with the Northern Illinois University football team, assisting with quarterbacks, wide receivers and special teams.

Duling came to NIU after two years as an offensive graduate assistant and wide receivers coach at Southwest Minnesota State. He coached All-American wide receiver Anthony Dean who recorded over 1,000 yards receiving and a school-record 18 touchdowns during the 2013 season. The team advanced to the Mineral Water Bowl. 

Duling was a four-time letterwinner as a wide receiver at Illinois College and was a member of the winningest class in school history and the first playoff team in program history. In addition to football, Duling also was an All-Midwest Conference Indoor Track & Field selection. 

A native of Clinton, Illinois, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois College in political science and international studies in 2013 and collected a master’s in physical education from Southwest Minnesota in 2015.Â
