2012: Redshirted as a true freshman. Earned Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week honors following the Iowa (9-1), Army (9-15), Ball State (10-6) and Eastern Michigan (11-23) games. Named Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week for the UT Martin (9-8) week.

High School: Garnered all-state, all-conference and academic all-conference honors in 2011 after recording 86 tackles - including 14 for loss - four sacks and four forced fumbles for Simley High School. Named the team[apos]s MVP following his senior year. Earned all-conference recognition after registering 58 tackles as a junior. Three-year starter who served as the team captain during his senior season. Wrestled for Simley[apos]s nationally-ranked wrestling team, finishing 2011 with a 26-19 record and 11 pins.

Personal: Born Sept. 2, 1993, in Edina, Minn. Son of Brad and Ericka Hazelett. Plans to major in business administration. Enjoys snowboarding, paintballing, tubing, fishing and hunting.
