2010: Played in 11 games on special teams, including the first six games of the season and the Humanitarian Bowl contest. Totaled three assisted tackles on the year. Two of his three stops came in the Akron game (10-2). Also had a tackle on special teams in the North Dakota game.

2009: Saw action in 12 games as a member of special teams and as a back-up tight end. Totaled two tackles on the season, including a solo stop against Eastern Michigan (11-5). Made his first tackle as a Huskie on special teams against Toledo (10-17).

2008: Redshirted.

High School: Garnered Star Tribune All-Metro third team honors playing for 11-2 Eastview. Earned all-state honorable mention notice in 2007. Caught 14 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. Caught eight passes for 117 yards his junior year. Started for the Lightning on the defensive line, where he totaled six career sacks and forced three fumbles. Helped the Lightning to a sectional title and to the Class 5A state semifinal. Played lacrosse at Eastview, where his team advanced to the Class 5A state semifinals.

Personal: Born Jan. 18, 1990 in Peoria, Ill. Son of Genine Morinville and Samual Edem. Undecided major. Huskie Scholar with a 3.0 GPA. Enjoys paintball, camping, and hunting. Fan of Antonio Gates.
