2010: Saw action in 13 games at defensive end and on special teams, missing only the Temple (10-9) game. Recorded a career-best 26 tackles with one sack and two-and-a-half tackles for loss on the year. Tallied at least one stop in 11 games while his tackles for loss came in four contests. Made a career-high six tackles, including a half tackle for loss, at Ball State (11-20). Had one of his best outings with four stops in the season opener at Iowa State (9-2). Credited with three tackles against Toledo (11-9). Posted three tackles, two solo, at Eastern Michigan (11-26). Named the Huskies[apos] Special Teams Player of the Week for that game. His one solo stop at North Dakota (9-11) resulted in his lone sack of the season. Made two tackles and totaled a half-tackle for loss versus Miami (12-3) in the MAC Championship Game. His other tackle for loss came at Akron (10-2) as part of a two-tackle day. Contributed a solo tackle in the 2010 Humanitarian Bowl game versus Fresno State (12-18).
2009: Played in all 13 games as defensive end. Totaled 15 stops, with seven solo, 4.5 tackles for loss and a pair of quarterback sacks on the year. Had a career-high five tackles, including one sack for a loss of six yards against Idaho (9-26). Recorded his first sack of the season for a loss of nine yards against Western Illinois (9-12), forcing a WIU punt and leading to an NIU touchdown. Totaled three tackles and 1.5 for loss against Central Michigan (11-27). Had two tackles each against Miami (Ohio) (10-24), Eastern Michigan (11-5), and Ohio (11-21). Forced fumbles against Idaho and Eastern Michigan, when he also had half a tackle for loss.
2008: Did not appear in any games, while working at linebacker for the Huskies.
Before NIU: Redshirted his only season at Coffeyville Community College in 2007.
High School: Earned all-conference first team and all-area second team honors as a senior at Bowie High School. Maryland County Newspapers[apos] All-County second team member made 97 tackles (63 solo), recorded three sacks and forced three fumbles in his final season with the Bulldogs. Received Big School All-State honorable mention accolades from MDVarsity.com.
