2011-12:Joined the basketball team following the conclusion of the football season, practicing for the first time on January 12 ... Appeared in 13 games ... Averaged 1.2 points and 0.6 rebounds while playing 4.8 minutes per contest ... Shot 87.5 percent from the free-throw line ... Saw his first action of the season against Toledo (1/18), playing three minutes ... Scored a season-high six points against Buffalo (1/28), with all six coming from the free-throw line.

2010-11: Joined the basketball team on Dec. 20 following the conclusion on football season ... Participated in 15 games, making two starts ... Averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while shooting 37.8 percent from the field ... Scored in double figures twice ... Had a career-best 11 points at Toledo (2/26) ... Scored 10 points in just nine minutes of action against Western Michigan (2/15) ... Grabbed a career-high six rebounds against Central Michigan (2/23) ... Saw the first action of his collegiate career at Missouri (12/27), playing five minutes with two assists and one rebound ... Made his first career start against Seattle (2/19).

High School: Four-year starter at East Grand Rapids. Garnered all-state honorable mention honors in basketball and was a second team all-area and first team all-conference selection. Basketball team advanced to the state finals in 2006. Also an honorable mention choice to the Grand Rapids Press All-Area Football Dream Team. Led East Grand Rapids to a Division III Michigan state championship his senior year. Earned all-league and all-area honors as a junior.

Personal: Born Aug. 1, 1988 in Grand Rapids, Mich. Son of Janell and Rodney Grady. Majoring in criminology. Admires Allen Iverson and LeBron James.
