Biography

2010: Redshirted his first season at NIU.

High School: Two-year varsity letterwinner at Detroit's Southfield Christian High. Served as a team captain as a junior and senior. Named to first team All-MIAC squad his junior year. Earned All-State honorable mention notice in each of his two seasons. Set nearly every rushing record for the Eagles. Scored eight rushing TDs and ran for 771 yards as a senior. Totaled 1,087 yards on 149 carries and scored 15 touchdowns in nine games his junior season. Averaged 7.3 yards per carry. Helped lead team to the MIAC title and to a 7-2 overall record as a junior.

Personal: Son of Michelle and Dewitt Bailey Sr. Intends to major in business administration. Born Feb. 16, 1992 in Detroit.
