Biography

•    Leading returning receiver for NIU entering the 2023 season.
•    In 40 career games at NIU and Illinois State, has 64 catches for 1,083 yards for a career average of almost 17 yards per catch.  

2022
•    Played in all 12 games and made four starts at wide receiver in his first season as a Huskie.
•    Caught 26 passes for 432 yards and six touchdowns to rank third on the team in catches, second in receiving yards.
•    Tied for the team lead in touchdowns with seven, and his six receiving TDs led NIU. 
•    Third in the MAC in yards per reception at 16.6. 
•    Gained 45 rushing yards on five carries. 
•    Made three receptions for 45 yards and touchdown catches of nine and 30 yards at Tulsa (9-10).
•    Also caught a touchdown pass versus Vanderbilt (9-17) and carried the ball twice for 21 yards.
•    Hauled in a season-long 63-yard pass at Kentucky (9-24).
•    Set season-highs with six receptions and 89 receiving yards, as well as tied a season-high of two touchdown grabs, at Ball State (10-1).
•    Scored on an 11-yard end-around at Ohio (10-22) and caught a short pass and ran for a 41-yard pick-up.
•    Had four receptions for 80 yards, including a 53-yard touchdown, versus Miami (11-16).
•    Called on for spot duty as kickoff and punt returner.

PRIOR TO NIU
2019-21 at Illinois State

•    Totaled 38 catches for 651 yards, a 17.1-yard average, in 28 career games at Illinois State.
•    Made 11 catches for 155 yards in 10 games in 2021.
•    Averaged 14.1 yards per catch with a long of 30 and carried the ball twice for nine yards.
•    Returned 10 kickoffs for 210 yards with a long return of 47 yards. 
•    Caught two passes for 55 yards in season-opening win over Butler (9-4). 
•    Made a season-high three receptions against Indiana State (11-20).
•    Started one game and saw action in all four during the COVID-19 shortened spring 2021 season.
•    Recorded four catches for 67 yards to average 16.8 yards per catch.
•    Had a season-long 26-yard catch versus South Dakota (2-27-21).
•    Returned one punt for 14 yards and three kickoffs for 53 yards, an average of 17.7 yards per KOR.
•    Played in all 15 games for the Redbirds as a true freshman and was named to the 2019 Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team.
•    Led the team with 23 receptions for 429 yards and scored one touchdown.
•    Averaged 18.7 yards per catch, with a long of 64 yards against No. 1 North Dakota State (10-5).
•    Tallied a career-high four catches for 105 yards in a win over Northern Arizona (9-21). 
•    Recorded back-to-back three-catch, 80-plus yard efforts against NDSU and Southern Illinois (10-12).
•    Scored his first career touchdown in a win over Missouri State (11-16).
•    Caught two passes for 27 yards, with a long of 19 yards, in the 2019 season opener versus NIU (8-31).
•    Named to the MVFC Honor Roll in 2021. 

HIGH SCHOOL
•    Two-year varsity starter at John Hersey High School.
•    All-state special mention selection as well as an all-area and all-conference selection as a senior.
•    Selected as the Mid-Suburban League Offensive Player of the Year after recording 70 receptions for 1,247 yards and tallying 18 total touchdowns.
•    Carried the ball 28 times for 300 yards to finish with over 1,900 all-purpose yards on the year.
•    Helped team to a 9-2 record and a conference runner-up finish.
•    Posted 28 catches for 557 yards and over 800 all-purpose yards as a junior, while finding the end zone six times
•    Helped the Huskies to a conference championship and a state playoff appearance.
•    Also ran track, running the 100 and 200-meter dash as well as competing in the pole vault.
