2006: Redshirted. High School: First team All-Suburban Catholic Conference and all-area selection as senior. Team captain who totaled 62 tackles with seven sacks, four blocked kicks, three forced fumbles, two pass deflections and one fumble recovery as linebacker and defensive lineman during senior season. Academic all-conference selection during junior and senior years. Captained track team as junior and senior and was captain of junior varsity team as sophomore. Personal: Born Nov. 30, 1986. Exercise Science major and Sports Nutrition minor. Made 3.0 cumulative GPA list following 2007 Spring semester. Son of Diane Smothers. Aspires to train highly competitive athletes in his career.
