2010: Played in 14 games as one of the Huskies[apos] starting wide receivers. Ranked third on the team in receptions with 35 and was fourth in receiving yards with 429. Scored three receiving touchdowns on the year. Earned third-team All Mid-American Conference honors. Named NIU[apos]s Co-Offensive Back of the Week honors after turning in his best game of the season at Illinois (9-18) with six receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. Made two catches for 58 yards, including one for a season-high 32 yards, at Akron (10-2). Caught five passes for 52 yards, including a touchdown reception against Temple (10-9). Named NIU[apos]s Offensive Back of the Week after leading the team with three catches for 41 yards and a 10-yard touchdown grab against Buffalo (10-16). Credited with a team-high four grabs for 34 yards against Central Michigan (10-23). Named NIU[apos]s Co-Offensive Back of the Week after recording a game-high four catches for 60 yards at Ball State (11-20). Caught four passes for 34 yards against Fresno State in the 2010 Humanitarian Bowl (12-18). Recognized as the Huskies[apos] best blocking wide receiver. Earned recognition as NIU[apos]s Offensive Back of the Week three times in all.
2009: Started in 10 games and played in all 13. Northern Illinois[apos] leading receiver with 535 yards on 45 receptions and four touchdowns. Made three catches for 57 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown reception, against Central Michigan (11-27). Had a career day versus Ohio (11-21), setting single game career highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (132), with a career-long 45 yard catch. Posted NIU[apos]s first 100-yard receiving game of the season and became the first Huskie receiver to catch 10 or more passes since Sam Hurd caught 12 at Central Michigan (11-5-05). Caught two touchdown passes versus Eastern Michigan (11-5) when he had three catches for 84 yards. Was named NIU[apos]s offensive skills player of the week five times, including after a six-catch, 70-yard day versus Toledo (10-17). Made five catches for 53 yards, including a four-yard touchdown grab, against Idaho (9-26). Led the Huskies with 41 receiving yards on six catches against Ball State (11-12). Tallied three catches for 14 receiving yards in the Mid-American Conference opener against Western Michigan (10-3). Made two catches each at Western Illinois (9-12), Purdue (9-19), and Miami (10-24). Totaled two catches for 37 yards, including a 33-yard first down grab, against the RedHawks. Ended his season at the International Bowl with one catch for seven yards and a first down against South Florida (1-3). Made at least one catch in 12 games. Led all NIU offensive players with seven catches of 25-yards or longer on the year and is also Northern Illinois[apos] top blocking wide receiver. Honored as Huskies[apos] Receiver of the Year and garnered Fran Cahill Award honors.
2008: Appeared in all 13 games and made eight starts. Team[apos]s top returning pass catcher totaled 16 receptions for 126 yards and one touchdown in 2007. Twice named offensive skill player of the week (Indiana State, Ball State). Blocked a punt versus Bowling Green (10-25) that allowed NIU to obtain possession at the BGSU 37-yard line, and eventually kick the game-winning field goal with 12 seconds left. Set career-bests with three catches against Tennessee (10-4) and Ball State (11-5). All three catches against the Volunteers resulted in first downs. Totaled 36 yards, with a 17-yard reception, in that game. Racked-up 15 yards versus the Cardinals. Made two catches, including a three-yard touchdown grab, against Miami (10-11). Made one catch for a season-high 24-yard gain in the Toledo game (10-18). Caught two passes for 21 yards and one first down against Western Michigan (9-6). Made at least one catch in nine games.
2007: Appeared in 10 games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams as a member of the kickoff coverage unit. Caught two passes for 19 yards on the season. Totaled five tackles, two solo, as a rookie. Started at wide receiver at Wisconsin (10-20). Caught one pass for a season-long 12 yards in that game. Made one catch for seven yards at Central Michigan (9-29).
High School: Named to the second team Illinois High School Football Coaches Association All-State squad as a senior and earned honorable mention recognition on the Chicago Tribune[apos]s All-State list. A first team all-area choice by the Daily Southtown and the Chicago Sun-Times in 2006. Member of the Sun-Times[apos] Area Top 100 list. Recognized as a first team all-conference selection. Led the Meteors to the conference title and Class 6A playoffs as a senior. Picked up all-conference and all-area honors as a junior. Caught 43 passes for 723 yards and eight touchdowns in 2006. Grabbed 42 passes for 805 yards, a 19.1-yard average, with 10 TDs as a junior. In his final two seasons, caught 85 passes for 1,528 yards and 18 touchdowns. Blocked six kicks and returned three of those for scores. A three-year starter at receiver for T.F. North. Also lettered in basketball and track and field.
