Biography

Career
• Started 26 consecutive games at left tackle in 2015 and 2016.
• Played in 46 games over four active seasons, including three MAC Championship games (2013, ‘14, ‘15). 

2016
• Started all 12 games at left tackle.
• Second team All-MAC selection.
• Part of the offensive line that ranked first in the country in fewest sacks allowed as NIU quarterbacks were sacked just eight times on the season.
• Led the way for the 16th-ranked rushing offense in the country as the Huskies averaged 239.8 yards per game to lead the MAC with eight 100-yard rushing games by three different players.
• NIU also ranked 27th in the country in total offense with an average of 463.8 yards per game, the fourth-best average in NIU history.
• The Huskies’ 653 yards of total offense at Ball State (10-1) were the eighth-most in a single game in school history. 
• Helped the Huskies to 500-yard total offense games versus Western Illinois (9-24) with 552 yards and Buffalo (10-22) with 511. 

2015
• Started all 14 games at left tackle.
• Second Team All-MAC honoree.
• Only non-senior to start every game on the offensive line.
• Blocked the blind side for quarterbacks Drew Hare and Ryan Graham.
• Helped NIU rush for 300 yards or more in three games, including a season-high of 334 at Buffalo (11-11).
• Named NIU Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the Buffalo game.
• Blocked for an offensive line that didn’t allow any sacks in the games at Central Michigan (10-3) and vs. Western Michigan (11-18).
• Opened holes for First Team All-MAC tailback Joel Bouagnon.
• Helped NIU rushers combine for 2,661 yards and 31 touchdowns.

2014
• Appeared in all 14 games.
• Served as the reserve left tackle and played on offense and special teams.
• Blocked on an offensive line that conceded only 14 quarterback sacks on the year.
• Played in the MAC Championship Game against Bowling Green (12-5) for the second consecutive year.
• Helped the Huskies average 5.1 yards per carry while scoring 36 rushing touchdowns.

2013
• Saw action in six games as a reserve offensive tackle.
• First career snaps came at Iowa (8-31) in the 2013 season opener.
• Also played in the Husies' blowout victory at Purdue (9-28) and in back-to-back MAC games vs. Eastern Michigan (10-26) and UMass (11-2).
• Got into the Western Michigan (11-26) contest and the MAC Championship game versus Bowling Green (12-6).

2012
• Redshirted.
• Named the Offensive Scout Team Co-Player of the Week after the Iowa (9-1) game.

High School
• First team all-state honoree by the WFCA and Associated Press following his senior year.
• Named all-area and all-conference on offense and defense in 2011.
• Finalist for the Joe Thomas Award, given annually to the top senior offensive lineman in the state of Wisconsin.
• Also named the team's MVP following his senior season.
• Earned first team all-Southeast Conference honors as a junior.
• Ranked as the ninth-best recruit in Wisconsin by Rivals.com and the 10th-best in the state by ESPN.
• Second-best offensive lineman in the state by Wisconsin Sports Network.
