Biography

Career
• Earned All-MAC recognition three times in his Huskie career. 
• Played in 52 games and started 46 between 2019-24.
• Saw most action at right guard from 2019-23 before moving to center as a senior.  

2024
• League coaches selected him to the All-MAC second team while Phil Steele put him on his All-MAC third team.
• Started 12 games at center and moved over to right guard at Miami (11-19).
• Proficient at both shotgun and quarterback under center snaps.    
• NIU ranked second in the MAC in total offense (382.2 yards/game)
• The Huskies averaged 203.8 rushing yards per game to rank 16th nationally.
• NIU led the MAC in fewest sacks allowed with just 1.46 surrendered per game. 
• Part of offensive line that led the way to 388 yards and an average of 6.0 yards per play to power the Huskies’ historic upset of No. 5 Notre Dame (9-7). 
• Helped the Huskies to a season-high 706 yards of total offense versus Western Illinois (8/31), the third highest total in school history.
• NIU gained 350 or more yards in nine of 13 games on the season.
• Led the way to six 100-plus yard rushing games by Huskie backs in 2024.
• NIU had 391 yards of total offense against Toledo (10-19).
• NIU rushed for a season-high 367 yards against UMass (10-5) with an average of 6.7 yards per carry.

2023
• Came back from injury suffered late in 2022 season to play in final five games of the season.
• Started the Camellia Bowl game at center, helping NIU to a 21-19 win over Arkansas State (12-23).
• Made his return at Central Michigan (10-31), where NIU racked up 506 yards of total offense.
• Took snaps at guard versus Ball State (11-7), Western Michigan (11-14) and Kent State (11-25).
• The Huskies totaled 37 points and averaged 7.3 yards per play in the Kent State game. 

2022
•    Received second team All-MAC honors from Phil Steele and was a third team choice by league coaches.
•    Started the first 10 games of the season at right guard before leaving the Western Michigan game due to injury.
•    The Huskies’ offensive line led the MAC by allowing just 1.0 sacks per game to rank 10th in the nation.
•    NIU’s offensive line led the way for the second-ranked rushing offense in the MAC.
•    The Huskies averaged 190.4 yards per game to rank 34th in the FBS.
•    Helped pave the way for the Huskies to set season-highs of 332 rushing yards and 526 yards of total offense at Ball State (10-1).
•    NIU ran for 287 yards on 49 carries in the win at Eastern Michigan (10-15). 

2021
•    One of NIU’s top offensive linemen started all 14 games at right guard. 
•    Second team All-MAC selection by Phil Steele. 
•    Earned third team All-MAC honors from league coaches. 
•    Named honorable mention All-MAC by Pro Football Network.
•    Led the way as Huskie backs surpassed 100 rushing yards 13 times on the year. 
•    Helped NIU to a No. 4 ranking in rushing offense as the Huskies averaged 241.4 yard/game.
•    NIU gave up just 10 sacks in 14 games to rank second in the country. 
•    The Huskies gained a season-high 335 yards on 55 carries in the Cure Bowl game versus Coastal Carolina (12-17). 
•    Top offensive performances came at Kent State (11-3) when the Huskies gained a season-high 663 yards of total offense, including 532 yards passing by quarterback Rocky Lombardi. 
•    Member of the 2021 Academic All-MAC team.

2020
• Started all six games at right guard.
• One of six Huskie offensive players to start every game.
• Assisted the offense to average 365.7 yards of total offense per game.
• Aided NIU to season-bests in rushing yards (199) and total offense (420) in the season finale at Eastern Michigan (12-12).
• Helped clear the way for tailback Harrison Waylee to back-to-back 110-yard rushing games to end the season.

2019
• Played in four games during redshirt season.
• Saw his first action of the season against Akron (10-26).
• Made his first start at right guard at Toledo (11-13) where the Huskie offensive line did not allow a sack and paved the way for 232 rushing yards.

High School
• Wisconsin AP All-State honorable mention selection in 2017 and 2018.
• Honored as the 2018 Cloverbelt Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
• Finalist for Joe Thomas Award, given annually to the top senior offensive lineman in the state of Wisconsin.
