Biography

2018 (through MAC Championship)
• Earned second team All-MAC honors at center from league coaches and Phil Steele’s Magazine. 
• Made 39 consecutive starts over his last three seasons. 
• Huskie backs have eight 100-yard rushing games, including three consecutive and five overall by Tre Harbison.
• Helped lead the way for Harbison to become first Huskie back to gain 1,000 yards in a season since 2015 (Joel Bouagnon). 
• The Huskies had two of their best offensive performances vs. Akron and Toledo with 484 and 427 yards, respectively, with 296 rushing yards in each game. 
• NIU averaged 6.8 yards per play in the Toledo game. 
• The line led the way for six 200-yard rushing days by NIU in 2018.
The Huskies totaled 400 or more yards of total offense in four games, including the MAC Championship win over Buffalo.  
• Tailbacks Tre Harbison (139) and Marcus Jones (103) both gained more than 100 yards vs. Toledo. 
• Offensive line led the way for 169-yard rushing games by Harbison at Akron and Marcus Childers vs. Ohio. 
• Calls all the signals for the Huskie offensive line. NIU ran 97 plays, at Eastern Michigan without giving up a sack.
• Biochemistry major began career as a walk-on. 
• Qualified for the Academic All-MAC team and was selected a Distinguished Scholar-Athlete. 
2017
• Started every game at center for the Huskies in 2017. 
• Anchored the NIU rushing offense that ranked fourth in the MAC at 177.3 rushing yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry. 
• The offensive line earned NIU Player of the Week honors for their performance against Western Michigan when the Huskies ran for 248 yards and didn’t allow a sack. 
• Helped lead the way to four 100-yard rushing games by Huskie backs. 
•  Expert snapper. 
• Biochemistry major was named NIU Scholar Athlete of the Week following the Huskies win over Buffalo (10-14). 
•  Named to the Academic All-MAC team for the third time. 


2016
• Selected to the Academic All-MAC team and as a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete. 
• Started all 12 games at center for the Huskies on the season and was responsible for calling signals for the offensive line.
• NIU averaged 239.8 rushing yards per game to rank 16th in the country. 
• Helped NIU rushers average 5.2 yards per rush attempt and score 27 times on the ground.
• NIU posted its fourth 300-yard rushing game of the season at EMU (11-16) behind 173 yards by Jordan Huff.
• The Huskies totaled 511 yards of total offense versus Buffalo (10-22).
• Helped lead the way for back-to-back 300-yard rushing games versus WIU (9-24) with 301 and at Ball State (10-1) with 355.
• Three different players posted eight 100-yard rushing games for NIU in 2016.

2015
• Appeared in seven of NIU’s first eight games of the season to letter.
• Named to the Academic All-MAC Team.

2014
• Redshirted.

• Three-time all-area and all-conference selection and two-time all-state pick.
• Honored as the team's Offensive Line MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior.
• Named one of the Indiana Football Coaches Association's Top 50 players in the state as a senior.
• Garnered first team all-state honors from the Associated Press, along with Kokomo Tribune all-area and all-conference recognition in 2013.
• Named to the junior all-state team by the IFCA in 2012.
• Collected all-area and all-conference recognition as a junior.
• Earned all-area and all-conference honors as a sophomore.
