Biography

2010: Spent his first year at NIU as a redshirt.

High School: Recorded over 1,000 total yards and 12 touchdowns as a quarterback, wide receiver and returner during his senior season, helping Wheaton Warrenville South win the 2009 7A State Championship with a 13-1 record. Also served as the team[apos]s punter and was a second-team Chicago Tribune All-State selection after punting 16 times for 574 yards for a 35.9-yard average with a long punt of 63 yards. Named to the Tribune[apos]s All-DuPage Valley Conference squad as an offensive all-purpose player. Picked up honorable mention DuPage County All-Area honors from the Daily Herald as a quarterback and receiver. Carried the ball 25 times for 300 yards with a long of 44 yards and five rushing touchdowns and caught 22 passes for 310 yards with five scores as a senior. Completed 18-of-26 passes for 250 yards, and returned eight kickoffs for 200 yards. In limited time as a junior, caught 14 passes for 395 yards with three scores. Two-year varsity letterwinner served as team captain as a senior. Academic All-State choice as a senior and a four-year member of the DuPage County All-Academic team. Ran the 100 and 200-meter dashes on the track and field team.

Personal: Born December 27, 1991 in Wheaton, Ill. Son of Susan and James Tracey. Father played football at Colorado State, and brother played at Butler.
