Biography

High School: Earned first team all-state honors from the Associated Press and Indiana Football Coaches Association after his senior season. Named Indiana[apos]s Mr. Football among punters in 2011. Led the state in punting average with 41.3 yards, breaking Munster[apos]s school record that stood for 35 years, as a senior. Garnered first team all-conference and first team all-area recognition from both the Northwest Indiana Times and Gary Post-Tribune. A pre-season all-area selection at quarterback and Special Teams MVP for the Mustangs. Completed 84-of-134 passes for 775 yards and eight touchdowns in 2011, while rushing 89 times for 191 yards and four touchdowns. Earned first team all-conference and second team all-area after his junior season at MHS. Passed for 1,086 yards and 10 touchdowns on 79-of-142 passing in 2010 and ran 106 times for 482 yards and seven touchdowns. Averaged 37.9 yards on 32 punts in 11 games as a junior. A four-year starter at punter and a three-year starter at quarterback for the Mustangs. Helped MHS win the Northwest Crossroads Conference championship in 2009. Also an all-conference member of Munster[apos]s basketball and baseball teams.
