Biography

2010: Redshirted as a true freshman. Twice named NIU's work team player of the week. Selected for his practice efforts during the Western Michigan (10-30) and Eastern Michigan (11-26) weeks.

High School: A four-year varsity letterwinner at running back for Flint Powers Catholic. Earned all-area honors as a senior and was a three-time all-conference selection. Twice named team MVP. Rushed for 1,150 yards on 157 carries with 19 touchdowns as a senior. Averaged 7.33 yards per carry. Surpassed the 200-yard mark in two games, including a 232-yard effort on 15 carries. Caught seven passes for 148 yards, with five grabs for 126 yards in one game versus Detroit Country Day. On defense, totaled 52 tackles, including a season-best 13 in one contest. Had a 25-yard interception return. Scored 19 touchdowns, with a season-best four in one game. The Chargers went 6-4 his senior year and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.

Personal: Born June 16, 1992 in Saginaw, Mich. Son of Sharon and Jim Burnor. His father, Jim, played football at Central Michigan. Intends to major in finance.
