Three-year varsity letterwinner at West Aurora High School. Second team All-Area selection by the Aurora Beacon News as a senior. Honorable mention All-Southwest Prairie Conference in 2018 and 2019. Ranks third all-time in quarterback sacks at West Aurora with 12 in his career. Finished his senior season with 37 tackles, including 26 solo stop, and four sacks. As a junior, credited with 29 tackles, 19 solo, and a league-high 6.5 quarterback sacks. Named his team’s defensive lineman of the year in each of his last two seasons. Did not play football until 2017 when he played six games on the sophomore team before being promoted to varsity. Runs 200 meters and on the 400 and 800 relay teams on the Blackhawks’ track team.
