High School: Four-time varsity letterwinner. Named first team All-State by the Missouri Coaches[apos] Association as a senior, while earning second team honors by the MCA as a junior. Garnered first team all-area and first team All-Metro accolades by the St. Louis Post Dispatch following his senior season. Helped lead team to 10-2 record and the second round of the 2010 6A state playoffs during his senior campaign. Earned first team all-conference honors following both his junior and senior years. Accumulated 28 tackles, five fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks as a defensive lineman during his high school career. Earned academic all-conference accolades in fall 2010. Named team MVP his senior year. Named team[apos]s lineman of the year as a senior. A two-sport athlete, also played basketball at Francis Howell High School.
