Biography

2010: Spent his first year at NIU as a redshirt. Selected as the Huskies[apos] work team player of the week versus Iowa State (9-2) and Western Michigan (10-30).

High School: All-conference and all-area choice as a safety at Chelsea High. Won two varsity letters in football and one in track and field. Helped lead team to an 8-3 record and district runner-up spot in 2009. Chelsea posted a 9-3 record and finished as regional runners-up his junior season. Qualified for the school[apos]s honor roll all four years.

Personal: Born Sept. 4, 1991 in Ann Arbor, Mich. Son of Stephanie and Bruce Giller. Intends to major in computer science.
