Biography

2010: Saw action in nine games as a true freshman, including in each of the last six games of the season. Made his collegiate debut at Illinois (9-18). Credited with his first career tackles on a pair of assists at Akron (10-2). Finished the season with six stops, including five assisted tackles. Made a season-high three tackles at Ball State (11-20) and added an assist at EMU (11-26). His early action came primarily on special teams but saw more time at linebacker versus Toledo (11-9), BSU and Eastern Michigan.

High School: All-area choice in 2008 who missed much of his senior year due to a shoulder injury. Played in 11 games as a junior and made 79 tackles, 30 solo. Forced three fumbles and compiled six tackles for loss, a sack and an interception. Bolingbrook defense allowed just 18 touchdowns in 11 games and 11.7 points per game. Three-year varsity letterwinner who served as team captain his final two seasons. An all-area choice as a junior. Bolingbrook won the Blue Division of the Southwest Suburban Conference each of his three seasons and compiled a 28-5 record in that time. Raiders were 9-2 in 2009 and posted a 10-1 record his junior season.
