2019: NIU student walked on to the Huskie team midway through the 2019 season. Did not see action in any games. 

At MSUM: As a sophomore at Minnesota State Moorhead in 2017, earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division first team honors. Tied for fifth in the NSIC with a team-leading five sacks and his 11 tackles for loss tied for eighth. Started all 11 games in 2017 with 41 tackles and a forced fumble to go with his sacks and TFLs. In 2016, appeared in 10 games as a true freshman with 15 tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble. In two seasons at MSUM, played in 21 games with 56 tackles, 14.5 TFLs, a pair of forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Also totaled seven sacks for minus 49 yards.

Prep: A first team all-conference and all-city selection in 2015. Named defensive player of the game five times his senior year. As a senior, recorded 65 total tackles, 51 solo with two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and an interception. Helped Whitney Young to a 9-1 record overall and conference title with a 7-0 mark in 2015. Three-year varsity letterwinner selected team captain as a senior.  Also lettered in basketball.
 
Personal: Son of Cherol Perkins and Terry Baggett. Sport management major at NIU.
