Biography

A three-year varsity letterwinner who played cornerback, receiver and returned kicks. First team All-Region honoree. Played 10 games as a senior and made 23 tackles, 22 solo with a tackle for loss, two interceptions and a caused fumble. Averaged 25.4 yards on 14 kickoff returns and 16.3 yards on 12 punt returns. Caught 26 passes for 552 yards and four touchdowns to average 21.2 yards per catch. Scored a pair of rushing touchdowns on 13 carries for 48 yards. Played in 13 games as a junior with 21 catches for 362 yards, a 17.2-yard average. Made 56 tackles, 43 solo with two for loss and one interception. Returned 14 kickoffs for a 26.3 average. His junior season he scored five touchdowns.
