Biography

2019
• Appeared in 11 games, making three starts at left guard.
• Made his first start of the season against Ball State (10-5) when NIU gained 388 yards of total offense.
• NIU’s starting left guard at Toledo (11-13), where the Huskies’ offensive line did not allow a sack and gained 232 rushing yards in the win.     
• NIU rushed for 238 yards against Eastern Michigan (11-19).

2018
• Played in every game and started nine at right guard.
• Part of a rotation at guard throughout the season.
Has 22 career starts in 28 total games played.
• Started the first four, and the last five, games of the year.
• Helped lead the way to eight 100-yard rushing games by Huskie backs in 2018.
• NIU surpassed the 400-yard mark in total offense in four games, including the MAC Championship win over Buffalo (11-30).

2017
• Started every game at right guard in 2017, his first year as a starter. 
• Helped power a Huskie rushing offense that ranked fourth in the MAC with 177.8 yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry. 
• NIU offensive line earned the team’s Offensive Player of the Week honors for their performance against Western Michigan (11-15) when the Huskies ran for 248 yards. 
• Led the way to four 100-yard rushing games by NIU backs in 2017. 
• One of three Wisconsin natives on the starting offensive line.  

2016
• Saw action in the Wyoming (9-3) and South Florida (9-10) games as part of the field goal/PAT unit.
• Moved to defensive line late in the year when NIU ran short of depth at the position.
• Returned to offensive line in spring.  

2015
• Redshirted.

High School
• Another offensive line prospect at NIU via the state of Wisconsin.
• As a senior, served as team captain and helped Oak Creek go 9-2, win the South East Conference and make the playoffs.
• Collected first team All-State honors in 2014 from the Wisconsin coaches.
• Blocked for an offense that averaged 29.8 points and 338.7 yards per game to lead the conference.
• Scored a rushing touchdown on the only carry of his senior season.
• Garnered all-area and all-conference recognition as well.
• Three-time All-South East Conference selection.
• Also played baseball at Oak Creek High School.
