2007: Played 12 games, and saw action at cornerback, as a kick returner, and on the punt coverage unit as a gunner. One of only 10 defensive players to appear in every game. Totaled 242 all-purpose yards to rank eighth on the team. Had four games with 40 or more all-purpose yards. Made his collegiate debut on special teams in the season-opener vs. Iowa (9-1). Returned four kickoffs for 73 yards, including a season-long 28-yard effort, at Toledo (10-27). Made two returns for 46 yards in the win over Kent State (11-10).
