Top-25 Illinois recruit and No. 46 quarterback in nation by Scout.com. Three-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout. SuperPrep and PrepStar All-Region, Champaign News-Gazette and Illinois High School Coaches Association All-State as senior. Set school season records with 2,550 yards total offense, with 2,130 passing yards, 248 pass attempts, 131 completions and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 550 yards and 13 TDs. Three-time all-conference and all-area selection. Threw for 1,350 yards and 21 TDs as junior. Owns school career records for total offense (5,832), passing yards (4,572) and touchdown passes (27) and holds school single game records with 26 completions and 406 yards.
