2007: Played 11 games and started at weakside linebacker against Central Michigan (9-29) and Kent State (11-10). Ranked 12th on the team with 38 tackles, 23 solo. Recorded a tackle for loss in the Central Michigan game. Made eight tackles, six solo, in that contest. Registered a season-best nine tackles with six solo at Toledo (10-27). Had five stops at Wisconsin (10-20). Credited with four solo tackles at Idaho (9-22).
2006: Injured in the spring game and redshirted the season.
2005: Played in 10 games and made three starts. One of four true freshmen to letter. Totaled 51 tackles. Made collegiate debut with four tackles and a fumble recovery at Michigan (9-3). Totaled eight tackles, one for loss, vs. Akron (9-24). Made first career start vs. Miami (10-5). Registered four tackles, one for loss, vs. Kent State (10-22). Racked up six stops in the Ball State (10-29) game. Recorded six tackles at Central Michigan (11-5). Amassed nine tackles and forced a fumble vs. Toledo (11-16). Intercepted a pass and made a career-high 10 tackles vs. Akron in the MAC Championship Game (12-1).
High School: Listed as a three-star recruit, No. 28 among state[apos]s postseason prospects and No. 46 in the nation at outside linebacker by Rivals.com. Selected team captain and first team Chicago Public League All-Section on 12-1 conference champion and Class 7A state playoff semifinalist as a senior. Named to City-Suburban All-Star Game following his senior campaign. Entered senior season on Chicago Sun-Times Top Area 100 Players list and All-Public League Defense. Won team Most Improved Award and first team All-Section honors on league titlist and state quarterfinalist as a junior. Earned three letters in football after transferring from St. Rita.
