Biography

• Saw time at tight end during 2025 spring practices and is expected to play both ways as a senior. 

2024
• Made 19 tackles, nine solo, while playing in all 13 games as part of the Huskies’ rotation at defensive end. 
• Started the last game of the season against Fresno State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (12/23) where he recorded three solo tackles and a six-yard sack. 
• Finished the year with 2.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass break-up. 
• Tallied three stops and was in on a tackle for loss versus Buffalo (9/21).
• Had a solo tackle in NIU’s historic win at No. 5 Notre Dame (9/7). 
• Posted three stops, two solo, and forced a fumble at NC State (9/28).
• Registered a tackle for loss and a pass breakup at Ball State (10/26).
• Credited with three tackles at Miami (11/19) and two versus Central Michigan (11/30). 
• Earned Academic All- MAC recognition. 

2023
• Injured in the season opener at Boston College (9/2)
• Made three tackles, two solo in the game.
• Used the year as his redshirt season.

2022
•    Appeared in all 12 games in the defensive line rotation with a start versus Central Michigan (11-16).
•    Totaled 12 tackles, five solo, on the season. 
•    Made a pair of tackles in NIU’s wins over Eastern Illinois (9-1) and Eastern Michigan (10-15) with a season best two solo stops at EMU. 
•    Recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter of NIU’s win at Western Michigan (11-9).
•    Registered two tackles, and was in on a sack, against Miami (11-16).
•    Made a season-high four tackles, two solo, versus Akron (11-26).
•    Named to the Academic All-MAC Football Team. 

2021
•    Saw action in all 14 games with one start at Michigan (9-18).
•    Totaled 15 tackles, 10 solo, with three tackles for loss. 
•    Recorded his first career solo sack in the season opener at Georgia Tech (9-4). 
•    Made two solo stops versus both Ball State (11-10) and Buffalo (11-17) with one of the tackles going for a loss in the latter game. 
•    In on two stops with a TFL in the MAC Championship game versus Kent State (12-4). 
•    Had at least one tackle in 11 games. 
•    Member of the 2021 Academic All-MAC team.

2020
• Started all six games as a true freshman.
• One of seven Huskie defenders to start all six contests.
• Finished the season with 16 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a half-sack.
• Recorded three tackles at Ball State (11-18).
• Recorded first career solo tackle against Western Michigan (11-28).
• Tallied a career-high five total tackles against Eastern Michigan (12-12).

HIGH SCHOOL
• Three-year varsity letterwinner at tight end and defensive end.
• As a senior, earned team captain, team MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards.
• Named to the 2019 Minnesota All-State team and played in the Minnesota High School All-Star Game.
• Received recognition on the 2019 Karell All-Metro Defense.
• Two-time All-District team choice (2018, 2019).
• Honored as Jefferson’s Best Lineman in 2018.
• In his senior season, totaled 88 tackles, 56 solo in nine games with six sacks.
