Biography

2014:
Played in all 13 games as a senior fullback...paved the way for a rushing attack that averaged 5.2 yards per carry...his blocking was a big reason why Cameron Stingily found the end zone 13 times...opened holes for a Huskie offense that averaged 252.9 rushing yards per game...chosen as NIU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week on 10-20 after his blocking helped NIU rush for 433 yards on 55 attempts in a 51-41 win versus Miami (10-18)...also recorded his only two receptions of the season and tallied 10 yards against the RedHawks.

2013:

• The Huskies[apos] starting fullback played in all 14 games on the season.
• Caught four passes for 25 yards.
• Helped the NIU offense set nine team offensive records on the season.
• Lead blocker who helped the Huskies set single season MAC records for rushing yards and rushing first downs.
• Helped lead the way for NIU[apos]s first pair of 1,000-yard rushers
• His first career reception went for 11 yards at Idaho (9-14).
• Also caught passes versus Purdue (9-28), Kent State (10-5) and Ball State (11-13).
• Voted to the Academic All-MAC Team by the league faculty reps.

2012:
• Played in 12 games as the Huskies top fullback and on special teams.
• Helped pave the way for the Huskie offense to average 5.4 yards per carry.
• NIU[apos]s rushing attack set a school record with 44 rushing touchdowns and gained 200 rushing yards or more in nine games.
• Helped the NIU offense surpass 300 yards rushing five times.
• NIU led the MAC and ranked 12th in the nation in rushing offense with 238.2 yards per game.
• The Huskies ranked 13th nationally in scoring offense (38.8 points per game).
• Named to the Capital One Academic All-District V Team.

2011:
• Saw action in 10 games and started at fullback at Buffalo (10-22).
• Played primarily on special teams, specifically on the kickoff coverage and return units.
• Posted a special teams tackle against Western Michigan (10-15).

High School:
• Named team captain in each of his three seasons.
• Honored as team MVP his junior and senior years.
• Finished his career with 309 tackles, including 212 solo stops, 16 forced fumbles, and seven blocked kicks.
• Three-time first team all-conference and all-area honoree.
• Given IHSA All-State honors following his senior campaign.
• Honored as a Northwest Indiana Times All-Decade linebacker.
• Named Old Spice Player of the Year following his senior season.
