• Played in all 14 games with 13 starts.
• Named NIU Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance at Northwestern, helping the Huskies defeat a Big Ten team for the third time in two seasons.
• Key member of the NIU offensive line that started the same five players throughout the regular season and gave up just 14 sacks in 14 games.
• Named NIU Scholar Athlete of the Week (11-10) after helping the Huskies rush for 236 yards and four touchdowns in a win at Ball State.
• Paved the way for a rushing attack that averaged 249.1 yards per game and found the end zone 36 times.
• Key figure for offense that totaled 46 plays of 25 yards or more.
• Blocked for three Huskies that rushed for 600 yards on the season: Cameron Stingily, Drew Hare and Joel Bouagnon.

• Appeared in all 14 games, starting eight at right tackle and three at left tackle.
• Named NIU Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance at Massachusetts (11-2) where he helped the Huskies amass 612 total yards.
• Earned NIU Offensive Lineman of the Week award against Western Michigan (11-26) after helping NIU record 425 rushing yards.
• Part of a pass protection unit that allowed only 0.79 sacks per game to rank fifth in the nation.
• NIU offense posted 519.8 total yards per game which ranked fifth in the country.
• Paved the way for Heisman Trophy finalist Jordan Lynch to become the nation’s second leading rusher at 1,920 yards for the year.
• Blocked for a Huskie rushing attack that ran for 3,161 yards (297.2/game), best in NIU history and seventh in the country.
• Led the way for the the most prolific scoring offense (39.6 ppg) in school history.
• Part of an NIU offense that topped 550 yards of total offense in seven games.

2012: Started 10 games at right tackle and three games at left tackle for the Huskies. Redshirt sophomore helped NIU average 469.6 yards of total offense per game to rank 20th in the country and first in the MAC. Part of an offense that gained 400 or more yards in 12 of 14 games in 2012. Blocked for a Huskie offense that led the MAC and ranked 12th in the nation in rushing offense with 238.2 yards per game. Part of a potent NIU attack that led the conference and ranked 13th nationally in scoring offense with 38.8 points per game. Played a role on a pass protection unit that allowed only 1.2 sacks per game, which ranked fourth in the MAC and 21st in the nation. Blocked for the conference’s leading quarterback in rushing yards, passing efficiency, and total offense. Paved the way for Northern’s season-high 622 yards of total offense against Central Michigan (9-29).

2011: Saw action in 11 games during the season, primarily on the PAT/FG unit. Also took snaps as a second team offensive tackle.
 
2010:  
Redshirted in his first season at NIU.

High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner and all-area first team selection at offensive tackle as a senior. Named second team all-conference as a senior and third team as a junior. Served as team captain as a senior. Helped lead St. Charles North to an 8-4 record his senior season after the North Stars went 6-4 his junior year. As a member of the varsity squad as a sophomore, helped his team post a 5-1 record in Upstate Eight Conference play en route to a 7-2 season record. Earned a Prairie State Achievement Award in spring 2010.

Personal:  Born July 22, 1992 in Chicago, Ill. Son of Stacey and Kevin Brown. Business management major. Huskie Scholar carries a 3.13 GPA. His older brother, Patrick, was a four-year starter at the University of Central Florida and spent time on the practice squad with the Minnesota Vikings.
