Biography

2017
• Started eight games, and played in all 13 for the Huskies at right tackle as a redshirt sophomore. 
• Split time with freshman Isaac Hawn at the position most of the season. 
• Coaches selected the offensive line as its Offensive Players of the Week for their performance against Western Michigan (11-15) when the Huskies ran for 248 yards and didn’t allow a sack. 
• Helped protect QB Marcus Childers as he threw for 278 yards against Eastern Michigan (10-26) in the Huskies’ overtime win. 
• The NIU offense averaged 4.2 yards per carry, 10.9 yards per catch and 384.3 offensive yards per game.

2016
• Appeared in all 12 games as a reserve offensive lineman and on special teams.
• Saw action primarily as a member of the field goal/PAT unit. 

2015
• Redshirted.

High School
• Talented blocking and pass-catching tight end for three years at Northville.
• As a senior, caught 10 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
• Helped the Mustangs reach the District 1 playoffs in 2014.
• Two-time Kensington Lakes All-Conference honorable mention selection as a tight end.
• Was also a star basketball players at Northville.

• Born Oct. 3, 1996, in Toledo, Ohio.
• Son of Raymond and Darlene Roberts.
• His father, Raymond, was a four-year football letterwinner at NIU and earned honorable mention All-America honors as a tight   
   end in 1993, serving as team co-captain for the Huskies that season.
• Intends to major in engineering.
