• Starred in the secondary for two years at the College of San Mateo in California.
• In 10 games as a sophomore in 2014, tallied 42 tackles, five tackles for loss and three interceptions.
• Also defended three passes and recovered three fumbles for the Bulldogs.

• Named San Mateo County High School Defensive Player of the Year and first team All-Area in 2011 by the San Jose Mercury News.
• Also a 2010 first team All-Peninsula selection by the San Jose Mercury News.
