Played in 13 games as a reserve tight end.
Started the Army (9-15), Central Michigan (9-29) and Western Michigan (10-27) games.
Caught two passes for nine yards.
Made a leaping, one-handed touchdown grab in the back of the end zone from two yards out at Army (9-15).
2011:
Saw action in 12 games and made a pair of starts.
Caught his first career pass for a seven-yard touchdown against Cal Poly (9-24).
Prior to NIU:
Redshirted the 2010 season at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Transferred to NIU after UNO dropped its football program.
High School:
Three-time varsity letter winner for football and four-time letterman in hockey and lacrosse.
Earned all-state honors for both hockey and lacrosse in each of his last three years at Millard North High School.
