Biography

• Enters the season with 116 career catches for 1,660 yards, tied for 18th at NIU all-time.
• Has returned 58 kickoffs for 1,388 yards, sixth on the Huskie career charts.
• Earned Offensive Most Improved Player Award following 2024 spring practices. 

2023
• Named to 2023 All-MAC Third Team and was a second team All-MAC choice by Phil Steele. 
• NIU’s leading receiver with 51 catches for 531 yards and two touchdowns; also ranked as the Huskies No. 3 rusher with 182 yards on 22 carries and one score.
• Returned 11 kickoffs for 220 yards and finished the season with 938 all-purpose yards, 72.2 per game. 
• Caught five passes for 32 yards and a two-point conversion pass in the Camellia Bowl win over Arkansas State (12-23) that turned out to be the difference in NIU’s 21-19 win. 
• Recorded a 34-yard rush and two receptions for 38 yards in win at Kent State (11-25). 
• Completed a seven-yard pass to Billy Dozier against Western Michigan (11-14). 
• Posted his third game this year with over 100 all-purpose yards versus Ball State (11-7) with six catches for 57 yards, 69 rushing yards, including a 35-yard touchdown run, and a 23-yard kick return. 
• Made a season-high eight receptions for 172 receiving yards at Central Michigan (10-31); scored on a 72-yard touchdown pass from Rocky Lombardi, the longest pass play of the season for NIU. 
• Led NIU with seven receptions in the win over Eastern Michigan (10-21) for 55 yards. 
• Totaled 141 all-purpose yards in NIU’s win at Akron (10-7) that included a season-long 48-yard kickoff return. 
• Scored his first touchdown of the season on a six-yard catch versus Tulsa (9-23) for his first touchdown since the 2021 Buffalo game (11-17). 
• Completed a two-point conversion pass to Rocky Lombardi in the Southern Illinois (9-9) game. 
• Racked up 34 all-purpose yards in NIU’s win at Boston College (9-2) in his first game action since 2021.
• Preseason First Team All-MAC by PFF, Phil Steele and Athlon.
• Named to the 2023 Paul Hornung Award Watch List. 

2022
•    Suffered a season ending injury in preseason camp and did not see action in 2022.
•    Named to the Biletnikoff Award and Paul Hornung Award Watch lists. 

2021
•    Named second team All-MAC as both a wide receiver and a kickoff returner by league coaches and by Phil Steele. 
•    Earned first team All-MAC honors as a wide receiver from Pro Football Focus. 
•    A second team All-MAC wide receiver by Pro Football Network. 
•    Led NIU in receiving with 892 receiving yards on 51 catches and seven touchdowns while playing in all 14 games.
•    Totaled 1,462 all-purpose yards, an average of 104.4 per game, adding 451 kickoff return and 113 rushing yards to his receiving total.
•    Led the MAC with a 25.1 kickoff return average and scored on a 100-yard return versus Bowling Green for his first career kickoff return touchdown.   
•    Ranked seventh in the MAC in receiving touchdowns and was second in yards per catch with a 17.49 average.
•    Scored three of his nine touchdowns on plays of 75 yards, including a 75-yard rushing score at Buffalo (11-17). 
•    Garnered MAC West Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording the 25th 300-yard receiving day in NCAA FBS history at Kent State (11-3) with 309 receiving yards on 14 catches with three touchdowns to break the MAC and NIU records for receiving yards in a game. 
•    The 309 yards ranked second in the FBS in 2021 and are the 19th highest total recorded in a FBS game all-time, while his 328 all-purpose yards (including 19 kickoff return yards) were the third-highest total in a game on the year. 
•    Totaled 160 receiving yards to earn his first career 100-yard game, on six receptions, at Central Michigan (10-23). 
•    Recorded his first career two-touchdown game, scoring on a 15-yard reception and a 75-yard pass against the Chippewas. 
•    Posted his third consecutive 100-yard receiving game with 108 yards against Ball State (11-10) on eight catches.
•    Hauled in four catches for 80 yards at Buffalo along with the 75-yard rushing score 
•    His lone catch went for a 20-yard touchdown against Bowling Green (10-16); also returned three kickoffs for 149 yards, including the 100-yard touchdown, to earn MAC West Special Teams POTW honors. 
•    Made three catches for 46 yards against Maine (9-25). 
•    Amassed 65 yards receiving on two catches, including a 40-yard touchdown reception, against Wyoming (9-11) and added four kickoff returns for 88 yards, including a long of 35.
•    Totaled 15 yards on a pair of catches in the Cure Bowl game vs. Coastal Carolina (12-17) after grabbing three passes for 50 yards in the MAC Championship Game (12-4).

2020
• Freshman All-American.
• Second team All-MAC selection at kick returner.
• Second on the team and 22nd in the MAC in receiving yards with 232 on 14 receptions, which ranked third at NIU and 20th in the league.
• Led the conference and ranked second in the country in combined kick return yards with 725.
• Tied for fifth in NIU’s single season record book with 30 kickoff returns and sixth in kickoff return yardage (717).
• Sixth in the league and 30th in the nation in kick returns a game (23.9).
• Team leader in all-purpose yards per game (159.50) good for fifth in the MAC and 10th in the nation.
• Tallied 151 yards on five kickoff returns in the season opener against Buffalo (11-4), surpassing NIU’s kickoff return yardage from 2019.
• Established season highs for receiving yards (95) and receptions (5) at Ball State (11-18).
• Ran back a season-high seven kickoff returns for 140 yards at Eastern Michigan (12-12).

HIGH SCHOOL
• Three-sport athlete at Crete-Monee lettered in football, basketball and track & field.
• Primarily played quarterback during his prep career.
• As a senior, rushed for 1,784 yards and 31 touchdowns on 160 carries for an average of 11.15 yards per carry.
• Completed 94-of-189 passes for 1,487 yards and 12 touchdowns.
• On the court, averaged 11.5 points per game and collected 125 rebounds in 25 games his senior season.
