Biography

• Received the No. 1 jersey from Jashon Prophete following the bowl game, presented annually as a “passing of the torch” to the next season’s leader. 

2024
• Saw action in 12 games as a back-up at the hybrid safety/linebacker position. 
• Also contributed as a member of the kickoff and punt return teams 
• Finished the season with nine tackles, six solo. 
• Recorded a season high three tackles, two solo, at NC State (9/28).
• Posted a pair of solo stops, including a tackle for loss, at Ball State (10/26).
• Had one tackle versus Western Illinois (8/31), Akron (11/13) and Miami (11/19).
• Registered one solo tackle versus Fresno State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (12/23).
• Earned Academic All- MAC recognition. 

2023
• Made seven stops, all solo, while seeing time on special teams and as a backup at nickel defensive back.
• Played in every game on the year. 
• Contributed on the kickoff, kickoff return and punt return units on special teams. 
• Saw action on defense in seven games at nickel back. 
• In addition to tackles, recorded a pass break up in the Western Michigan (11-14) game.
• Recorded two solo tackles versus both Tulsa (9-23) and Ball State (11-7).
• Had solo stops in the Akron (10-7), Ohio (10-14) and Arkansas State (12-23) games.

2022
•    Appeared in seven of eight games versus MAC opponents.
•    Saw action in seven consecutive games beginning at Ball State (10-1) through Miami (11-16).
•    Contributed as a member of the punt return unit. 

2021
•    Saw action in four games as a true freshman. 
•    Made his Huskie debut versus Bowling Green (10-16).
•    Played in the final three games of the season: versus Western Michigan (11-23), in the MAC Championship game versus Kent State (12-4) and the Cure Bowl (12-17) versus Coastal Carolina.  
•     Recorded his first career tackle, a solo effort, in the Cure Bowl game. 

HIGH SCHOOL
• Made 50 tackles as a senior in 2020, including 40 solo.
• Added six pass deflections, three interceptions and one forced fumble.
• Totaled 33 tackles as a junior in 2019, including 20 solo, with eight pass deflections and three interceptions.
• Earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2019.
• Selected team captain in 2020.
• Helped team advance to the state semifinals in 2020.
• Caught 11 passes for 303 yards with five touchdowns in 11 games as a junior.
